Deck: Music Phone

Deck is an Android based mobile phone for the premium segment market. The design is simple and straight forward, but still unique enough to stand out in the already over-crowded mobile phone market.

The design is inspired from the flat tape decks from the early eighties. The front keys are separate mechanical keys which provide better tactile feedback. The stereo speaker ports are tucked under the keys.

The SIM card can be changed simply by lifting the upper flap. There is no need to open the back cover. The phone does not need to be turned off for changing the SIM as the wireless circuitry temporarily turns off when the SIM slot is latched off.
